We've installed solar+storage on seven community resilience centers across Puerto Rico. Three were done in partnership with Para la Naturaleza, a long-standing local nonprofit working on conservation on the island. These energy systems power critical loads at the centers which serve as a safe place for community members to go during natural disasters and grid outages--where families can prepare or receive meals, and receive emergency supplies and important information. Water capture and filtration systems were also installed at these locations so community members have a source for clean water when the island's municipal water supply has been contaminated due to storms or other events. Three other community resilience centers were done in partnership with Candian Solar and local solar installation company, Solar Technology, and one was in partnership with Estuario, a local nonprofit assisting communities along the island's estuaries, and Aireko Energy, another local solar installation company.

We also installed solar+storage for a direct services organization called COREFI that provides daily meals for the most vulnerable people on the island of Vieques--60 miles east of the main island of Puerto Rico.
